A note to my english speaking visitors: This  website is intended to give you an idea about my german book Codierte Kunst (Coded Art). The book is currently only available in German, but I’m looking for ways to publish it in English … so stay tuned.

As a Silver Surfer, Joachim Wedekind is also a Digital Native, who has – as a user and occasional programmer – accompanied the development of digital media from the time of personal computers (like the APPLE II) to the introduction of the Internet, the WWW, smartphones and social media. As a former educational technologist and specialist in media didactics, he early got to know the programming language Logo and Seymour Papert`s constructionism. This is the basis on which he could combine his interest in geometrically abstract art forms with the joy of programming.
